Is iD Tech an inexpensive summer camp? No. We know it.
But is iD Tech worth that cost?
Yes.
We know it, and hundreds of thousands of others can say the same.
In fact, we dedicated an entire blog post to that question, citing everything from holding programs on prestigious university campuses, to hiring the very best instructors, to crafting curriculum that features industry-standard products, and so much more.
Most telling of all, though, the answer is found in the feedback passed along from our alumni base of 450,000 students, and their parents. They tell us, “yes, iD Tech is very much worth the cost,” and you can see many of their reasons why by visiting a specific location page and scrolling towards the bottom to the reviews section.
Most of the comments we see and hear rally around this idea: iD Tech programs are an investment in your child's future.
But while we aim for transparency when it comes to the cost of our programs, and can go on and on about the value of the investment, it still might not be easy to take that next step and register.
So, we wanted to also share how you can save as much as possible on tuition, while also shedding light on how you can make tuition more financially manageable.
Save on summer 2020 tuition pretty much all year
It’s no secret that we offer promotional savings throughout the year. (If you didn’t know that, please sign up to join our email list!). For instance, right now you can save $75 on summer camp tuition if you download a brochure. $75! No small chunk, right? But did you also know we were offering $125 savings a few months ago? Yes, it pays (you back) to register early for camp.
Flexible payment options
Making the cost of summer camp work isn’t always about savings, either. Sometimes you just need a little time to solidify plans, some flexibility, or both.
Well, did you know you can reserve your child’s spot with a $290 deposit per week of camp and pay the balance by May? Or how about that you can make unlimited updates to your registration—with no fees—up to 14 days before your start date? Both are true, and both are extremely helpful if your calendar is up in the air, and if you need to put off the full payment of camp for a bit.
Save even more by referring friends
Ok, back to savings. While one benefit of summer camp is meeting new people, it’s always fun for kids and teens to attend camp with existing friends. So, once you register for an iD Tech summer program, you'll receive a unique Refer-a-Friend code that can be shared with up to ten friends. Why not make camp a family event? Pay standard tuition for one student and receive $50 off for each additional student.
Save even more when registering for multiple courses
And, practice makes perfect! Students can return for multiple sessions to progress in their favorite courses, or discover topics that are totally new. Pay standard tuition for your child’s first course and automatically save $50 on each additional course. So, for instance, save $50 when you register for two courses, and save $100 when you register for three.
Consider alternative ways to earn money for camp
Have you ever attempted to fund or seen others fund their projects and needs through crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe? Have you ever thought about funding your child’s way to camp through such platforms? It’s a very real possibility.
In fact, hundreds of iD Tech students earned enough for camp registration through GoFundMe alone, not to mention others who have done so through similar sites.
