Global Academies on campus at Stanford
Overnight Programs
Running from June 22-August 15, 2025
This summer, your teen can spend two weeks as an honorary Stanford University student, mentored by elite instructors, networking with distinguished tech professionals from Google, META, or Tesla, learning in high-energy tech labs, and exploring the inspiring Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area. This program is designed for teens looking to learn with a global cohort of students from around the world. As such, English-speaking instructors can provide language support in Mandarin.
Global Academy course offerings
Teens can choose from one of two programs, BattleBots® Robotics Academy or AI and Machine Learning Academy with NVIDIA. In both programs, teens will meet and hear from industry leaders like Steve Hoffman - CEO of Founders Space and godfather of entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley - as well as leaders from other prestigious tech companies. Barry Katz, a Stanford professor for over 30 years in the mechanical engineering department and a leader in product design, will also lead a design thinking session with students.
